I am a current client of Jeff Rau Physical Therapy (R&R PT) and also have been treated by Jeff in the past for many chronic pain issues. I can tell you that as soon as you walk into his clinic, you feel very welcomed by Jeff and therapist Anne Hanson, as well as by his admin staff as they all greet you like you are family! My current peripheral neuropathy symptoms and chronic back pain are not only greatly relieved by Jeff's unique approach with manual therapy, but by the use of the Class IV Deep Tissue Laser Therapy machine. Not many PT clinics have this machine available, but this is such a wonderful tool used along with manual therapy to help treat deep tissues that were once damaged and also treats acute and chronic pain and nerve inflammation. As a peripheral neuropathy sufferer, I am noticing great results with the numbness in my feet that happens due to cold weather and pain relief from the chronic inflammation in my lower spine as well.Jeff is such a perfectionist in his approach in treating the whole patient and won't rest until he turns over every stone to fully understand your specific pain and nerve issues and where they are coming from. I was experiencing very difficult nerve pain in my arm from bulging discs in my neck. My shoulder muscles had shut down and were contributing to the compression of the nerves. I had been in pain about 4 weeks and had a lot of difficulty sleeping. I was able to get into R&R Physical Therapy within a few days of calling to begin treatment. My therapist took great care in assessing my issues, reading my MRI report and then developed a plan of treatment. It took 5-6 sessions along with some homework and my pain is remarkably better. I am extremely grateful to R&R Physical Therapy for their expertise and compassion to get me on the road to recovery.

I can't say enough great things about how much better I feel since going to Jeff Rau Physical therapy!! I had been experiencing pain off and on with my jaw for several years. I had pain when I would chew my food (all on the left side), when I would try to open it fully (to yawn or eat a big hamburger 🤗) and it was painful to the touch. That, in turn, caused me to have a sharp ear pain! After determining that nothing was wrong with my ear, I called my dentist, as I figured it was TMJ. He referred me to R & R Physical therapy. The physical therapist, after a thorough evaluation of my symptoms and an examination of my jaw, determined that my jaw was misaligned! Over several sessions he has done some manipulations and some therapy and I am happy to say that I am pain free!!! 🙌 He has also worked on my shoulder and neck muscles (if those are tense, it makes your jaw tense) and I have had so much relief!! The thing that most impressed me is that the therapist really listened and tried to figure out the cause of the pain instead of just treating it! Before going to Jeff Rau Physical therapy, it was suggested that I go to an oral surgeon to fix my TMJ!! This was a much better alternative than surgery!!🤗 I would highly recommend R & R Physical therapy if you are in pain and I am confident that you will get excellent results!!

I came to Jeff Rau PT with neck and back pain, and after a few sessions my therapist was able to reduce my pain substantially and identify problems I didn’t even know I had. I had tried stretching and yoga, but my therapist helped realign my body in a way I couldn’t have achieved on my own. I didn’t realize how much pain I had been in until it got better. I’d recommend Jeff Rau PT to anyone experiencing pain or discomfort.

I have been dealing with chronic neck and shoulder pain for several years. The discomfort and pain was causing me stress in much of my life activities. I work as an occupational therapist in a hospital, which requires I do a lot of lifting several days a week, and was stressed I was not going to be able to do my job as well if the pain continued. I also was having pain lifting and caring for my toddler. I even had stopped exercising because anything I did seemed to make it worse. As a therapist myself, I thought I should be able to fix it, but obviously cannot observe exactly what my body was or was not doing to cause the pain and alignment issues. I am so glad I finally went though, because I’m now feeling better than I have in years and finally feel like I can get back into doing the active things I love! Jeff used manual techniques and laser treatment for my sessions, which relieved a lot of my pain almost immediately. He also taught me exercises that were simple to incorporate into my daily life that have helped tremendously. Jeff has a positive mindset and philosophy when it comes to health and healing, which helped put me at ease. He makes you feel validated and understood with any and all concerns. I would highly recommend him and have to my loved ones, family, and friends! I wish I had addressed some of my concerns years ago instead of suffering with pain!

Jeff is absolutely THE best! I’m so grateful for his help. My mother, in her mid 80’s, after two shoulder surgeries began to experience a “frozen neck.” In order for her to move her neck, she had to move her entire body. She was in severe pain for a year and didn’t know where to turn for help. We don’t live in the same city, but my family knew we needed to find someone that could help and give her some hope. Jeff Rau was that person! He’s very knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind and patient. He’s explained to my mother about her neck and made her feel comfortable with physical therapy. He’s also continually kept me informed about her progress. In just a month, she’s started to improve and it’s wonderful to hear the optimism and excitement in her voice. I highly recommend Jeff!

I would like to give my P.T. Jeff Rau a huge thank you for all of the many hours of treatment helping me manage my daily chronic neck stiffness/pain, as well as helping me sort out, one by one, the many unexpected vestibular issues that I was also experiencing at the same time with no apparent clear diagnosis by any of the many specialists I had also been seeing all year!Jeff's unbelievable patience each week listening to and addressing all of the new symptoms I was experiencing (e.g., not being able to walk outside without becoming dizzy, not being able to turn my head to the left, right or up without experiencing dizziness and even daily chores like being able to go grocery shopping without having to hold onto a carriage) are just some of the normal things most people take for granted doing every day, myself included, that I was not able to do anymore, before I sought out P.T. treatment at his facility.Jeff's expertise in treating my cervical spine along with my vestibular issues has been the sole reason I have the quality of life that I have today! Not one of the many specialists I have seen this year, including 2 ENTs, Neurologists, Cardiologist, Allergist, along with the many diagnostic tests, could explain to me the main cause of my vestibular problems!
